Among the measures put in place to ensure the prevention of the spread of the Covid 19 pandemic in Ghana was to put restrictions on social gathering which churches were included. As a fact of easing the restrictions on social gathering, the government has pave a way for churches and mosques to start functioning.
As result of this, the general oversea of The Builders church in Techiman the Bono East regional capital, Bishop Thomas Afari Yeboah has congratulated the government on his good measures put in place to ensure Corona Virus out of the country and also to the field workers who has taken to themselves the risk to protect the country from Corona virus.
He continues by urging the entire country to abide by the policies of the government to protect the country from corona virus, since we are not in our normal time and also we are supposed to learn a lot from this situation.
He therefore urged the government of Ghana to reconsider the one hour service which has been introduced into the system since the time is not enough and will not help much in the various worship centers and therefore also pleaded for an increasing in the time for the church services.
