Newly-appointed Hearts of Oak coach, Kosta Papic, says he is focused on preparing his team adequately for the upcoming Premier League clash with Karela United.
Papic held his first training session with the club at Hearts’ training base at Pobiman in Accra on Thursday morning.
The Serbian tactician was named to replace Edward Nii Odoom last Tuesday and took charge of training affairs today after meeting the playing body on Tuesday..
Coach Papic took the boys through their paces to get them in good condition for the visit of the league leaders on Friday at the Accra Stadium.
In an interview with the club’s website, the trainer said “I hope to get the boys prepared enough to face Karela United who are unbeaten in the league games played so far”.
The Phobians are without a win in their opening two league matches having drawn 2-2 with Ashantigold and lost 0-1 to Inter Allies.
Hearts are looking forward to recording their first league win of the season when they welcome Karela to the Accra Stadium on Friday.
