A suspected armed robber was on Thursday night [December 17, 2020] gunned down and his body set ablaze after he and five others allegedly attacked a mobile money vendor in Karaga in the Northern Region.
The vendor, identified as Mohammed Miftawu, is said to have been attacked by the suspected robbers, numbering six at about 7.30 pm on Thursday.
The Northern Regional Crime Officer, Superintendent Bernard Baba Anangam has confirmed the incident to Graphic Online.
